what is 3d/4d ultrasound?

Like regular ultrasounds, 3D and 4D ultrasounds use sound waves to create an image of your baby in your womb. What's different is that 3D ultrasounds create a three-dimensional image of your baby, while 4D ultrasounds create a live video effect, like a movie! This technology gives us the ability to see baby's face, facial features, and if we're lucky, capture a yawn or smile!

how early can you determine gender?

Mamarazzi techs are trained to  determine gender as early as 15 weeks!! With that being said, it sometimes happens that baby is un-corporative, which then we will allow extra time for baby to move around & move position OR in the worse case scenario we will  book a second appointment cost free to determine at a later date.

Do I still need to see my doctor?

Absolutely!! Our services are 100% non diagnostic & elective. Meaning our services are not covered by MSP or any other health provider plan. Because we are non diagnostic is it recommended that you upkeep regular scheduled doctor appointments & ultrasound scans appointed by your doctor.

when is the best time to do a 3D ultrasound?

3D/4D Ultrasound can be done any time throughout pregnancy but keep in mind the earliest we can determine gender is 15 weeks. We generally recommend doing two sessions during a pregnancy. First we can determine gender earlier in the pregnancy (15-17weeks) when baby is quite small and developing. A second ultrasound can be done at 25-32 weeks when baby is a bit more developed, with more prominent, squishy features! If only one ultrasound is wanted,  it is ultimately up to you! Earlier scans provide gender & a full body shot of less developed baby, while a scan later in pregnancy can give us up close face shots with facial features & bone structure.

can i choose to not find out gender?

Absolutely!! Upon request we will ensure that the areas to determine gender will be avoided throughout the scan, and both you and mamarazzis will be completely unaware of the gender.

What DO I need to do to prepare for my 3D ultrasound?

It is important to stay hydrated and drink lots of water a few days leading up to the scan - this ensures clear fluids and can allow for better picture quality.  Having a light snack or drink with some sort of sugar content 10-15 minutes prior can also help to get baby moving around before the scan.

Do I need to have a full bladder?

Thanks us later, because you do NOT need a full bladder to prepare for a 3D Ultrasound. Because our services are non-diagnostic we do not spend time measuring the size of baby/placenta, which therefor does not require you to have a full bladder during our scan.

what forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, debit & credit at both our office space & at all mobile appointments
